Delicious Mondays!!
Posted on Nov 10, 2008 by Andrew in Link Love .
Hey guys,
I really love this post! Knowing that it’s coming up every Monday factors into my thinking all week. It reminds me that health and fitness is about learning, and learning is a constant action. I’ll let you guys in on a little secret about me. I really don’t read for fun. If something doesn’t have a practical application associated with it, I’m not reading it! I found that before I had Go Healthy Go Fit, I wasn’t reading as much as I should be. But now, with Delicious Mondays, I’ve got the motivation to learn something every day of my
life. I want to thank my readers for that gift that you have given to me! Now, here’s what I found to be Delicious this week:
Organic Health Blog wrote a very interesting article about the newest, healthiest? plant on the market… Moringa Oleifera: The Tree of Life
Mark Sisson wrote a great guest article on Mizfit.com, discussing everything from ever evolving health advice to gender differences in diet and working out.
The New York Times wrote an eye-opening article on the truth behind stretching and how it affects your performance at any level of fitness. They also provide tips on how to warm up without stretching.
That’s Fit wrote a useful post on how to diet on the down low with tips for eating in public. I think that these are great tips for a lifestyle of eating healthy all the time too (hint, hint, diets suck!)
Israel at Fat Man Unleashed published a cool article on weight lifting for weight loss, an overview of the benefits of supplementing a healthy diet while staying in shape.

Glad to see the word is getting out on Moringa Oleifera, I used to eat this when I was growing up in the Philippines. People really need to pay attention to this miracle tree, it might just save the world from hunger!

Hey Jessie,
Thanks for the comment. I agree with you completely. People should be focused on a healthy and safe weight loss program, whatever it may be. Here’s a post I did regarding my stance on rapid weight loss.

Hey JonxBlaze,
I agree, I am super interested in the Moringa Oleifera. In fact, I will be doing a product review on Zija, which uses the “Tree of Life” as it’s primary ingredient. Stay tuned… and thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the mention, it is much appreciated. I have my own opinions about stretching…but warming up is what is key.

Hey Israel,
My pleasure bud, thanks for the comment! I’ve been really thinking about the stretching thing, and I’ve found, for me at least, that it doesn’t take too much away from me when I exercise but it sure hurts if I don’t stretch. Who knows, maybe it’s just mental.
All the Best,
Andrew
